My family has lived in the great state of Idaho for since 1972. We first moved from the Midwest to Sun Valley, ID. Talk about culture shock, not to mention climate! I did have the opportunity to head back to Michigan in the late 70's to attend Kingswood School Cranbrook, then a stint at the University of Arizona.

I've always enjoyed cooking and baking and ended up at The Culinary Institute Of America in Hyde Park, NY where I graduated in 1983 as a chef. Upon graduating I headed of to sunny southern California where I worked at numerous restaurants and hotels including the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel.

Finally time to grow up and get off the beach so I headed back to Idaho. Boise this time, as I could think of no better place to raise my son. Ironically after 18 great years in Boise my son is at Chapman University (the Dodge School of Film) in Southern California - back to the beach!

I spent the next 14 years in the family business, Central Park, a clothing boutique, selling, buying and managing. I also ran a wedding cake business, Edible Art. During my cake career I was able to compete nationally, alas I didn't win but what an opportunity. After many years in the clothing business mom was ready to retire and I was ready to move on to a new challenge... Real Estate.

This has been a very rewarding business choice for me. After over 6 years in the business everyday and every transaction presents it's self with different opportunities and challenges. I enjoy the ever changing real estate market and how every transaction is different - never a chance to get bored.The challenges are fabulous as well as the opportunity to meet interesting people form all over the country (yet to have an international transactions but would love that opportunity).

The continual education process and ever changing market fits my personality well. I received the prestigious ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) a few years ago and completed my GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) the spring of 2007.

I am member member of the National Association of Realtors, Idaho Association of Realtors, Ada County Association of Realtors, a Circle of Excellence recipient for outstanding sales volume, and Prudential Leading Edge award winner.

I take great pride in being a Realtor and being able to help both buyers and sellers realize their dreams. I have also worked extensively with investors and 1031 exchanges. I am a regular contributor on market conditions for Realty Times at www.realty times.com.
